For negative middle ear pressure by

• inflammatory diseases of the nasopharynx
• Middle ear infections
• Allergic diseases
• Chronic inflammation of the nasopharynx
• rapid pressure displacement, for example when diving or in an airplane

 Use:
Place the opening of the medical balloon (latex membrane) over the flat end of the nosepiece.

Gently press the round end of the nosepiece against the right nostril while holding the left nostril closed.

Breathe in deeply through your mouth, close your mouth and inflate the medicinal balloon by exhaling through your nose to about the size of a grapefruit (approx. 10-12 cm).

Repeat this process with the left nostril. When the balloon is inflated, a change in pressure should be felt in the ear or a "click" should be audible in the ear.

If this is not the case, repeat the entire process (see above) and additionally bend your head slightly forward and at the same time turn your head slightly to the right.

Try to swallow when the balloon is inflated. Then repeat the entire process with the left nostril.
