The 53-lb Edge A is designed to bring music to life, delivering a finely balanced sound with enough power for any loudspeaker. Cambridge Audio developed this series purely by ear, testing every component and only choosing the very best. The Edge uses opposing symmetry twin toroidal transformers, which cancels out electromagnetic interference whilst offering outstanding power and maintaining consistent tonality, no matter how loud it’s played.
Cambridge Audio went beyond a standard class A, adding a bias voltage to a traditional Class AB design, reducing distortion to inaudible levels. This configuration also produces less heat.
The built-in DAC means you can connect digital sources and pair any Bluetooth device to easily stream music.
